Multi-Client Projects
As part of our commitment to provide a competitive advantage for our clients, Canadian Discovery conducts ongoing research and development. Multi-client projects, launched from internally generated ideas, are conducted to investigate emerging opportunities, while also addressing a variety of challenges faced by exploration companies.

Much of our strength lies in our experience and ability to integrate geology, hydrodynamics, geochemistry, petrophysics, sedimentology and geophysics. Previous multi-client work has:

  • Provided new play concepts in mature North American basins (i.e., for unconventional gas resources).
  • Reduced exploration risks such as charge and flushing in relatively immature basins like the Oriente in Ecuador and the Murzuq in Libya.
  • Delivered unparalleled guidance in developing resource plays such as the Bakken and Montney in Western Canada.
