In 2005, Rakhit Petroleum Consulting Ltd. merged with Canadian Discovery Ltd. Building on over 25 years of experience, and hundreds of domestic and international studies, Canadian Discovery provides fully-integrated geoscience services to resource sector stakeholders.

Canadian Discovery is a privately, employee-owned geological information services company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The company's management team comprises technical and management professionals with a diverse range of experiences. Canadian Discovery currently employs a total of 21 intermediate to senior geoscience professionals, as well as a team of software developers, data management professionals, graphic designers and other support staff. Canadian Discovery also offers geoscience consulting in the fields of geology, hydrogeology and reservoir characterization among others.

Canadian Discovery has access to the full range of industry resources, including ESRI ArcGIS, geoSCOUT, AccuMap, IHS Hub, MJ Systems, Geographix SeisVision and Geographix LogM and HDS Petrophysical software. Proprietary resources include the Well Completions & Frac Database, GeoFluids™, Hydrostation™, EDGE and numerous strategic reports and atlases. These in-house resources, along with an extensive list of worldwide associates and joint-venture partners enable us to offer the full spectrum of geoscience services.
